Blue360 follows clear rules for advance payments and milestone-based billing to ensure transparency and smooth execution of projects. This article explains how advance payments work, when milestone payments are due, and what clients should expect during billing.
Advance Payment Rules
- Most service packages require full payment in advance before the project begins
- For services not covered by packages, a minimum of fifty percent advance payment is required
- Work starts only after the agreed advance amount is received and confirmed by our finance team
- Advance payments are non refundable except in conditions explicitly allowed under Blue360’s refund policy
Milestone Payments
- For larger or custom projects, payments are divided into milestones
- Milestones are agreed upon during the proposal stage and documented in writing
- Each milestone payment must be cleared before work on the next stage begins
- Delay in milestone payments may pause the project until the payment is received
Examples of Milestone Billing
- Website design project: fifty percent advance, twenty five percent on design approval, twenty five percent before final handover
- Custom automation solution: one third advance, one third mid project, one third at completion
Client Responsibilities
- Make payments as per agreed schedule without delay
- Ensure reference details like invoice number are mentioned while making bank transfers
- Notify Blue360 if there is any difficulty in making a payment on time so alternate arrangements can be discussed
Important Notes
- Ad spends for campaigns are billed separately and directly by platforms such as Google or Meta
- Blue360 only charges management or service fees as per the package or agreement
- No work is delivered until the required advance or milestone is cleared
- Freelancer payments are released by Blue360 only after a fourteen day review of their deliverables
